We're pleased to announce a new survey is now open.

Do you have ME/CFS or Long COVID (with PEM) and are you currently using, or have you ever used, transcutaneous auricular vagus nerve stimulation (taVNS)? This is the method of electrically stimulating the vagus nerve via the ear, using a TENS machine or a specialist device.

We would like to hear about your experiences - positive or negative - about using this approach.

This survey has 35 questions and may take up to 20 minutes to complete.

More information about the survey and how to check whether you may be eligible can be found on the participant information sheet, which can be downloaded at our website by clicking here.

The potential for transcutaneous Vagus Nerve Stimulation as a non-invasive intervention for autonomic dysfunction is a fascinating area of current research. As we see more data emerging from these surveys, the role of data science in interpreting patient outcomes becomes increasingly critical. Students who are analyzing these complex biological datasets might benefit from Online Artificial Intelligence Assignment Help in Australia to better understand the machine learning models used in modern medical research. Integrating technology with patient-led surveys could really accelerate our understanding of symptomatic relief. Has the initial feedback from the tVNS survey participants highlighted any specific trends in heart rate variability improvements yet?

This new survey sounds really interesting, especially for people dealing with ME or Long COVID. It’s great to see research exploring new approaches like taVNS to understand what truly helps patients. I don’t have direct experience with this treatment, but I appreciate how such initiatives focus on gathering real feedback from those who’ve tried it. As someone who often looks for reliable support in other areas, like using computer science assignment help during my studies, I know how valuable it is when experts take the time to listen and learn from people’s real experiences. Wishing the survey great success and useful results.

I’m keen to see the results of this as the devices might help both me and my son, but they seem very expensive.
