Today is World ME Day. Physios for ME continue to strive for improved awareness, education and care for people with ME, and we've had a busy few months.
We are proud to support the There for ME campaign to urge the government to fund the delivery plan, which is due for publication next month. There for ME have today released a statement with support from many advocacy groups, charities and support groups, including ourselves. You can read this statement here:
We also welcome back Michelle Bull who spent last week in Norway at the ME/CFS and Long Covid Conference. Michelle presented to health professionals and people with ME about management of ME and learned lots from the rest of the presentations by an excellent group of dedicated researchers. She has plenty to digest and share with our team and has made some great contacts - well done Michelle!

We have continued an open dialogue with the Chartered Society of Physiotherapy to look for ways to further education and awareness of all physiotherapists and will continue to explore opportunities with them in coming months.
And work continues on our various research projects, with even more ideas in the pipeline.
In June it will be our sixth anniversary! We are hoping to get together as a team once more to celebrate all we have achieved and make plans for how to expand our reach even further.
So on World ME Day we'd like to emphasize the importance of learning about ME to physiotherapists and other healthcare professionals - and to people with ME we'd like to offer our continued support and let you know that you have a dedicated team on your side.
From all at Physios for ME.
